Next Steps

So I haven’t made much progress since my last blog post. Although I’ve had my first Mentor meeting with my lovely mentor SeƱora Ryan. We discussed what I had done over the holidays. We talked about my plans and next steps. Now I have a clearer idea where I want to go.

So my next steps are to go and watch a riding for disabled lesson. As these are open for the public to come watch and learn. Then I will also make contact with Jenny again just to check on what the board thinks of my ideas.

Thanks for reading and following my Passion Project journey. If you have any ideas or comments, please comment below because I would love to hear from you!

Catching up!

Sorry I have been so busy and it’s been the school holidays. I have made contact with a lady called Jenny from the Riding for Disabled. She was lovely and we discussed my ideas and thoughts.

I did have one small set back which was I am unable to work with the children because you have to be 16 years and over and police vetted. Although that idea of working with the children is out of the question, she has given me so many other ideas. Right now Jenny is going to take my ideas to the North Canterbury Riding for Disabled Committee.

One idea that really stood out to her was the idea of promoting the Riding for Disabled. I am so happy right now. I hope it all goes well.

Thanks for reading!
